GCVMS Scholarship Guidelines
We consider all students who apply, regardless of academic achievement.
The following traits will be considered in choosing a student to receive a scholarship: character, community service, work ethics, future plans, motivation.
Financial need is a qualification.
GCVMS scholarships are not limited to 4-year colleges. Community colleges, technical and trade schools also qualify.
The evaluation process is fair. Community volunteers with various backgrounds and locations will review student applications. Decisions on scholarship winners are based on verified qualifications presented in the applicant’s application.
The scholarship application, essays, recommendations can be sent by email or mail in a packet to the school’s chairperson of the GCVMS scholarship committee (chairperson information is listed on the scholarship pages or online at myvms.org, under application tab).
