The form to the right is for direct donations to the Gratiot County Veterans Memorial Scholarship fund. Donations of $150 or more will receive an embroidered hat. Donations over $350 will receive an embroidered jacket.

THESE PLAQUES SERVE AS EXAMPLES OF HOW YOU CAN HONOR YOUR HEROES AND SUPPORT THIS SCHOLARSHIP EFFORT.
One hundred percent of the proceeds generated from the sale of these plaques will go to the Veterans Memorial Scholarship Program.
This project is a non-profit 501(C) -(3) eligible project. The IRS code allows for federal tax exemption status for non-profit organizations; thus, any donation to the Veterans Memorial Scholarship is eligible for a tax deduction.
Two 4”x16” plaques illustrate how people can come together to honor their heroes and loved ones, and by doing so, can make it quite affordable. For example: if 10 students come together to purchase a 4’x16’ plaque to honor a teacher, coach, mentor or loved one, the plaque would cost $500 per year for 10 years. After a federal tax credit, the net cost per year would be $32 or $32.50 per year for each student.

When you do so, you will not only be honoring the 23,209 HEROES from the state of Michigan who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country, but you will also be honoring your personal life HEROES and supporting our youth, the future HEROES of tomorrow.

8” x 16” – $10,000 or $1,000/yr for 10 years
10″ x 24″ – $20,000 or $2,000/yr for 10 years
10″ x 36″ – $30,000 or $3,000/yr for 10 years
The 19 BROTHERS plaque was the first plaque placed on the HEROES WALL OF HONOR. These 19 Gratiot County HEROES made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country in Vietnam.
